I am well aware that I have been very inactive over the past year, and for anyone who actually reads my blog and follows me for Sims 4 animations, I think I owe you guys a little explanation.
I won't go into too much detail as my personal life is, well, personal...
But I think a little explaining is in order.
A lot of things have happened this year since I started creating animations and other content for my channel - some good and some not so good.
For example, I got a new job that I really love!
However, the downside of this was that I had much less free time to spend on my hobbies. Also during this time, my health suffered a beating.
To cut a long story shorter, there was a long period of time where I wasn't able to do any work, and I wasn't able to continue with my hobbies at all, which was hard.
(I have a LOT of hobbies...)
I needed to take a bit of a recovery period and there was nothing I could do about that.
Anyway, with the depresing stuff out of the way, I am pelased to say that things are back on track and I have a more time, energy, and health to focus on the things I enjoy again. 🙂
I'm working most days now (I still love my job) so I'm still going to be busy, however I'm back at the gym, back to being a bake-aholioc making and lots of cakes, and back to making animations!
With that said, I now have a new project on the go which will require a LOT of custom animations.
It's been a long time since I did any animating, so I had to go back to basics a little bit...
My first set of animations will be a classroom animations pack which I am making as part of my machinima project.
And so I present to you the most basic animation ever created to get me started with animating again: A child sitting at a school desk.
These animations won't be available for public download separately just yet. I will release the animation pack when each animation is complete and I have a pack I am happy with.
I am however considering opening a patreon page where you guys can support the work that goes into making my animations if you would like to, with early access to any animations I make as a thank you!
Animations do take a lot of time and work to make them look as good as possible, so it's just something I am thinking about for the moment.
Anyway, as always, thank you for reading!
And well done to you if you made it this far! 😉
